RT/WW : Sleeping Princess

Wordless Wednesday

Eyes half-closedEyes fully closed (sound asleep)

No she's not a princess but her name is. Just love this cute sleeping photo of our dear Princess when she was just 2 months old with her Mom holding her. It's actually her first photo shoot when after some clicks and shots she suddenly yawned and sleep while taking her pictures. I found her cute while sleeping so I didn't stopped. She's my first cousin's granddaughter so I'm her granny also (young granny of course lol).

Feeling Dizzy

>> Monday, January 18, 2010

I’ve been feeling bad this morning and maybe this is due to my PMS, I’m just writing some posts but will rest later. Just can’t focus when my head is aching and eyes are itching. I was hoping early this day that I’ll be able to finish my workload but dizziness prevents me from doing too much work. Mom is telling me to give myself a break for at least two hours to nap, rest and relax but I’ll stop when I reached my own quota of work because I don’t want doing work on deadlines it gives me a lot of pressure. While I’m looking for some ways to lessen my headache my niece is asking me some tips on getting rid of blackheads because she has two on her face and it ruins her flawless face complexion. Teenagers are really a handful sometimes that they can’t seem to have proper timing. Oh well I guess she really needs some attention now, she’s giving me too many questions.

My Phobia

You Are Acrophobia

You are the fear of heights.
It's likely that you expect bad things to happen to you. You often feel unlucky.

It would be just your luck to fall from a high spot... and you're not going to chance it.
You tend to be pretty risk adverse. You rather be safe than sorry.

This is really true, I'm afraid of heights and I never had a chance to ride a ferris wheel, a vinta, space shuttle, roller coaster or anything like that. Well I'm not so coward as you'll think but I'm just not a risk taker. I rather be safe than sorry and it's pretty convenient to be like that.

Relief for my Mom’s Joint Pains

>> Saturday, January 16, 2010

My Mom complains of joint pains because of her arthritis that’s always making its presence known when the weather is very low or when it’s very cold. I always see her putting some herbal oil on affected joints when she’s in pain and in minutes it’s all gone. She even used the same herbal oil on me whenever I suffer from severe backache. My Auntie gave the oil to her several months ago and she said it’s one of the Chinese herbal oil that’s proven to relieve some muscle pains. It can be used also on other sickness that’s why it’s called best herbal oil. Sometimes I’m thinking if it’s better if Mom should have joint supplements that will not only give natural joint pain relief but will help also to improve and strengthen her joints. I’ve already given her vitamins for bones and joints few years back but it didn’t work as it was advertised on television. It’s better to consult doctor before taking any supplement.

Earning While Taking Care of the Kids

I was trying to remain awake as I have many tasks to do. Actually it’s not my due date but I want to do my work ahead of schedule to prevent date miscalculations and expirations. I was really tired from house chores but sitting in front of my PC gives me some relaxation I guess because I’m really this kind of person that when I’m tired physically I can’t rest until my mind would be tired also.

Funny or weird but that’s what I developed when I had this job of always beating the deadlines of submitting proposals for certain million worth government projects. It was a life that you’ll not wish coming back for because even if you need to rest and sleep you can’t go home until the proposal is not finished and submitted on time. I’m glad that I was able to decide a different life outside the demanding corporate world. In my present job I earn and still can take care of my family all the time. Isn’t it a blessing? I’m so thankful!

Sensitive Skin

My daughter has developed some sensitivity in her feet since she was a toddler and we’re so careful in buying slippers and shoes for her. I always choose the best materials that will ensure non-allergenic properties to protect Ruth from having skin disease on her feet like allergy, eczema and some other results of feet sensitivity.

Now that she’s a big girl already I noticed that she can wear more styles and materials of slippers but still prone to some itchiness when she’s not comfortable with what she’s wearing. I always try to check her feet if it’s too dry or sore because that’s my symptoms that she’s getting allergy or sensitive to some factors. MIL gave me a very good ointment that can cure mild allergies and can be used also on general skin disorders. I hope that she’ll develop a daily regimen of watching on her delicate skin so she can prevent skin disorders on her feet. She’s still a toddler at heart and in her ways sometimes that I still remind her on how to take care of her feet.

:Food Friday - Breakfast Cravings!

>> Friday, January 15, 2010

This is one of my specialty because it happens to be my favorite also, actually i love all kinds of pasta especially the white sauce varieties. This one was our breakfast today as we're all craving for some more. I've cooked spaghetti sauce last Tuesday (Gen's birthday) more than I need so I can store some of it in our freezer and today I've cooked half kilo pasta and just taken the frozen sauce out of the ref and voila I have yummy spaghetti in 30 minutes! Breakfast should be served before 6am before my girls' school service so I'm super fast in cooking breakfast for them. We always have heavy breakfast like rice and pasta as I believe in having a full stomach in the morning so my kids can think fast and be alert and healthy when they go to school.

Happy Food Friday to all, see other yummy foods here!

Late Night Work!

>> Thursday, January 14, 2010

It’s past eleven again and though I feel a little sleepy I’m also inspired to write more and this is good as I have a lot of tasks to finish. My tasks are well off the deadlines but I still want to finish them earlier as I hate scramming and beating the deadline hours. It’s better to start off this year with a good work schedule and it’s also conducive to receiving and grabbing plenty of opportunities as you’ll not worry about not being able to think of ideas when you needed it most. In blogging you also need a careful planning of work so you’ll have time to post more valuable entries. This time of the night I only have to think of myself because my kids were all sleeping and my work is double fast than when I’m doing something in the house. Well I should take this as an advantage for me. I’ll be able to round up some blogs and visit them again.

Women’s Concerns

Women are so concerned about the way they look or if their faces showed signs of aging and imperfections. Their concerns are equal with their passion for shopping and going to spas. Well that’s one of our natures and I find it ok as long as everything will be done naturally. As for me I never let my face be exposed to sun’s heat without protection because the sun can dry up your skin badly and will make your skin looks older than your age. It’s better to be careful with it rather than face the mirror and see yourself aging so fast. But if this happens to you there are many age spot removal treatment you can find in the market, I recommend reading some reviews before purchasing one.
