:RT/WW - Super Grand Mom!

>> Tuesday, February 23, 2010

I want to share a pic of my Mom and Josh on our way to my niece' birthday. This was 4 years ago when Mom takes care of my little boy while I'm working in BT&T. I just felt so happy that Mom has taken care of my two bigger daughters and my little boy when I was not yet ready to leave my work then. She has given all her time and attention watching over Josh all day and spending all her time and efforts to him. She taught him many things, she's a retired elementary teacher that's why she's very capable of honing Josh learning capabilities. Josh didn't want to write anything then, they just spent the day talking to each other and from there Josh learned many things. He's got a super Grand Mom.

That’s My Mom

>> Friday, September 18, 2009

Since My Mom undergone a cataract operation we never let her do any of the tasks at home save for a few hobby she used to do. She wants to maintain her gardening which is limited to watering her flowering and ornamental plants and some maintenance check on her blooms. She didn’t have to worry about anything as I’ve resigned from my job and now working at home so I can run errands for her whenever she needs some things accomplished. Because my Mom was used to doing things like cooking and teaching my kids we allow her to continue doing the tutorial to my kids because it’s a part of her being, that of being a teacher.

Aside from this she has nothing to do except relax, watch TV and enjoy being with Josh, her favorite companion. Sometimes she takes some time checking on our apartments and her tenants who became so close to our family. She checked on them every now and then if they need anything or if they need advices on caring for their newborn baby. That’s my Mom, she’s a very good mother, grandmother and a senior adviser to a lot of our friends.

She's Very Fond of Josh

>> Tuesday, July 7, 2009

My Mom reminded me that Josh will have his monthly examination this coming Thursday and she asked for the pointers so she can go through it and review Josh verbally. She wants to practice her teaching profession on my children and even though she has retired from her teaching profession several years ago her teaching abilities has never faded in quality. She’s the only person who accompanies my little Josh in the house and maybe that’s the reason why Josh is showing so much interest in learning things. My Mom would always tell me when I came home from office that Josh never runs out of question and it gave her some laughing moments because some of Josh inquiries were out of his age. She’s very fond of Josh and they enjoy each other’s company.

It’s My Turn Now!

>> Friday, August 22, 2008

It’s my turn now to care for my Mom as Redge was needed in her office now. Anyway I’ve fixed my leave and asked my boss that I would be absent today. Mom has appetite now and I’m rounding the whole place around us to look for anything that she wished to eat, my Mom was actually laughing at me every time I told her to wish and I’ll get it for her. She told that she was like a pregnant woman that everything she wants must be given lol! It’s nice to be back home after two days work in the office. Done all my chores and after I checked that my mother was rested I started my blogging.

Me and My Mom

>> Thursday, July 24, 2008

Redge took this picture last Mother’s Day and when I saw it I find it very nice. My Mom always look pretty even she’s old already, unlike me who looks what I feel, If I feel happy my pic would be nice but if I’m stressed my pic would look afresh so If I’m tired and stressed I would wear my glasses to hide my weariness.

My younger sis Redge always says to me that me and mom are like super moms and she always joke about me getting the traits and skills of my mom regarding cooking, marketing, being a stage mother lol!and many other things. I was flattered because I look up to my Mom as my ideal person. She brought us up in good faith and disciplines us in not so strict ways. She acted as both our Mom and Dad when my father suffered stroke in his 50’s leaving my Mom to take all the responsibilities on her shoulders-that of caring and working for us. She was a school teacher during that time and inspite of hardships we experienced of having our father in monitored condition we stayed as a happy and successful family.
