All departments should have their own goals on how to achieve and finish work with a good management approach like employing skilled and experienced staff and creating a well-balanced company policy that benefits not just employer but the employees as well. With my experience in administration, human resources and billing departments I can easily understand problems encountered in each department without jeopardizing one department and praising the other. Good judgement and wise decision are vital factors in ensuring that everything will be operated in the best way possible.

Now when it comes to hiring good personnel you have a choice if your company will do it on its own or hire the services of skilled labor staffing company that provides skilled and experienced employees to various field of business. As recruitment and hiring is a bit hard at times because of the various processes that involves the work more companies are now resorting to getting a staffing company to do the job. This way they can depend on the company to complete the list of workforce they need in the best possible time and with the best credentials they need. The company will do the testing, verifying of education and credentials and background checking.

If certain qualifications are needed like work experiences and training the staffing company will see to it that they hire the best and experienced craftsman and train them too if needed. Learning and Playing Musical Instruments

>> Tuesday, December 8, 2015

Last year we planned to enroll Josh in violin playing class but due to some reasons he chose to enroll in keyboard class. One of our reasons was our need to train a child to play keyboard in our church as no one has the eagerness and penchant for keyboards. Almost all wanted to play either guitar or drums and as keyboard is very important in worship songs we encourage our son in his love for playing keyboard instrument. He also wanted to learn violin but the instrument he meant to use was sold mistakenly, it was intended to be given to Josh but apparently there’s a miscommunication.

Anyway Josh is very young and he can still learn it if he wants. I heard one of his classmate whispered to one of their mentor on what makes a good violin and overhearing it I made some research so when the time comes that my son will start the violin school I know what to choose for a good sounding quality violin.

Working For Your Own Company

>> Friday, September 25, 2015

It’s always better to have your own company or business to attend to instead of having an 8-hour office corporate job. Well the regular job is also good as it offers regular and stable income to pay for basic needs and monthly bills. I myself have been employed regularly for more than two decades on varied fields of business in electronics, transportation, consultancy, telecommunications, equipment distributorship and engineering. On all those companies that I worked with I was able to receive stable compensation to finance my family’s needs. This is also the reason why many people stick to a regular job even if sometimes the pay is not that big.

Now it’s different when you are the boss or when you’re working for own company because there are more benefits most of the times. You can decide your own time, your own schedule, strategy and marketing techniques. Same goes for some  owner operator trucking jobs who can enjoy the choice of choosing their loads to haul, the places they want to run, the time they want to dispatch the load, the number of loads and many other things that only an owner-operator can do. Most of them need to lease to a company so they will just choose the loads that meet their needs and to help with managing their dispatches.

Being your own boss gives you more responsibilities but it also gives you financial and work freedom. You just need to know the boundaries of your capabilities, the steps you need to take to make it successful, how to handle your finances wisely and the people or company you need to work with. Sometimes you need to have a working partner or you have to lease to a supplier who can give you clients for your business. There are several things to learn when you start your own business and more when you’re in the middle of it. The most important thing is you stay focused and work your way to your success.

Little Things that Makes Us Enjoy Work

>> Tuesday, September 15, 2015

There are things that make us happy in whatever field or career we take and in my own experience we should not spend all of our time on our job for us to enjoy it. I have worked so diligently and few years back I even spent 24 hours or more just to finish proposals. I also spent more than 20 hours online on my writing job and though I enjoyed every bit of my writing job I know in my heart that a person should have limits in working. It’s the free time away from working area that gives a breather and space to realize that it should not be all work as we also have to play.

Now that I only spent one to two hours a day on my online work and only 8 hours on my office work I get to enjoy my work more because I have more focus and get to know many things. I enjoy my work because I look forward to the thought that at the end of the day I will see my kids, my husband and my whole family and enjoy the rest of the day with them. If I can help it I don’t spend more than the regular hours of work so I’ll still be early to cook for my family and listen to their day experiences.

When I still have some extra time for myself I browse the net and search for some of my favorite musical instruments and accessories at musiciansfriend.com where I and my kids bond because we both love seeing the latest instruments on the net. As they offer the country’s peso conversion it’s also easier to gauge if the price is affordable or if the goods are good deals. It’s the little happiness in our loved ones, our simple hobbies and diversions that release our stress in work and make us ready for another day of our work life.

Trucking Jobs Are on the Rise

>> Friday, September 11, 2015

According to recent new, there are more trucks on the highways these days. That is good, because this usually means that economic growth has increased. Many people do not think about trucking as an indicator of the job market. In fact, there is a strong correlation between big rigs and jobs overall. There are only three parts of the US economy that have more to do with our gross domestic product than transportation: food, health care and housing.

There are more trucks on the road, which means more goods are being shipped and sold, and there is more work in factories too. This also means of course, a lot of trucking jobs Cleveland in particular is seeing a rapid rise in trucking jobs.

A 2015 analysis from the Bureau of Economic Analysis found that transportation and warehouse jobs went up 17,000 in June of that year, and trucking jobs especially went up 7,000. This indicates that a trend is continuing from earlier in the year, with 19,000 brand new trucking jobs having been added in the last 90 days.

Overall, trucking jobs are increasing as the economy is getting better, and this is great news for all of us.

Office and Home Organizers

>> Thursday, August 6, 2015

Just like in our homes we want our office files and things organized in order to make our work more convenient. It’s actually a necessity to have enough filing cabinets and drawers to hold our volume of folders for a neat and well-arranged look. It can also be a good factor for fast and quick working order because when your things are in order you can easily get whatever you need anytime.

For our homes we need to have closet and cabinet organizers with Fulterer soft close drawer slides to manage the usual mess in areas like dining and kitchen. We can have drop-in drawer organizers to hold and keep our items in order that we want them and where we can easily find them hassle-free.

Deciding on Special Music Class

>> Tuesday, July 14, 2015

Since my two girls are already in their college I know what they want to be when they finished schooling as they both chosen career path for themselves. Now for my big boy who is turning 12 in September I know that he’s not yet sure on what career he wants for himself. Sometimes he would ask me what I want for him and few times he will tell me that he’s starting to realize what he really want to be. In his young mind he is full of hopes, goals and dreams and for now I just encourage him on whatever he may want to achieve.

One of his wishes is to be very good in playing various musical instruments and I inspire him to learn more. This morning as his school passed us the form for enrolling clubs and special music class we’re thinking carefully if he’ll take keyboard class or enroll in guitar lessons. If he’ll be taking up guitar class I’ll look for a new guitar for him like the one I saw online with nice accessories. I saw they even have guitar shielding for guitar’s pickguard. Well Josh is very well versed in browsing online sites especially when it comes to musical instruments and techie sites. I’ll let him decide his special class tonight.

They usually have the expertise in knowing not just the applicant’s background and knowledge but their psychological condition as well.

When employers are having problems with hiring the best personnel like  Biostatistician jobs or when they don’t have enough resource to do the job they will find it hard to run their business efficiently. Dreams, Career and Music

>> Tuesday, June 23, 2015

Now that my two daughters are on their way to fulfilling their dreams and working their way into their desired careers I’m always by their side to support whenever they need my help. Of course their Dad is also hands-on on assisting them on their projects and providing whatever materials they need. Aside from academics we also try to give them training on learning to play various musical instruments which they love to do.

All three of them have one or two instruments they love to study. Gen has the most number of musical instruments tried and we found her so gifted with playing. She has no professional studies on music but she plays skillfully with grace and passion. I guess it’s because of genes as my grandfather plays alpha and other string instruments so well.

We love seeing them offer song in our church with Ruth and Josh singing while Gen playing keyboards or guitar. In the following months I know that Josh can play keyboards as good as her elder sister as he’s so keen on mastering his music craft. They’re so fond of instruments and accessories that I saw them browsing through digitech jamman last weekend. Gen told me that she’ll collect more when she has the money to buy her favorites.

Looking at Work in a Different Perspective

>> Friday, June 5, 2015

After long years of leaving technical proposal works in which I was given the opportunity of administering minor telecoms and doing some human resource plus administrative works in an Israeli equipment firm I was back in a company which I started counting endless hours of overtime. Well I'm now a project employee with more responsibilities of overseeing project's progress but less the stress of head-office headaches. It takes another employee of the same company to understand what I'm saying. Anyway the old ‘Me’ has matured enough to handle bigger responsibilities with better understanding and I hope best decision to arrive at productive results.

Now I'm assisting the H.O. group in finishing bidding proposals but it feels as different as it's less stressful than the old days considering that clients are very strict now with regards to guidelines and rules. Well people change and when they do it's either better or worse than ever. As for me I see things in a different perspective and I’m more focused with my goal which is the reason why I treat my job as precious as the butter on my bread. Those years away from DSI has helped me grow up and harness my abilities especially in writing when I decided to leave the office work and work at home.

Writing online has made my dreams of being a writer come true in a way. It also taught me that there’s no stability on anything in this world but on God only. It helped me learned so many things and how to make the most of my talents to the best of my advantage. God has taken care of all those things and I can never be as grateful for all the things I learned in life.

2015 M&As: A Look at What's Coming

>> Wednesday, January 28, 2015

Mergers and acquisitions were among the stars of the global financial stage in 2014. By the end of September, there had been more closed M&A deals during the year than there had been over the last five years. Financial players handled billions of dollars in mergers and acquisitions transactions by the year's end.

The reason behind the boom is simple: natural outcome of business strategies. With the need to consolidate and cut costs to stay alive, many businesses turned to mergers and acquisitions in the wake of the recession. But even with the recovering economy, it looks as if the uptick in M&A deals may be here to stay for the upcoming financial year.

Media Trends

According to a CNBC report, the shift to digital advertising may spark record M&A activity in the media sector. With more people watching television and movies on the Internet, digital advertising is becoming more important. As a result, several media providers, such as movie and original programming network Starz, have reportedly been in talks with other businesses as the advertising model continues to evolve.

Telecom Sector

Telecom is another hot area for potential mergers and acquisitions. With competition becoming fierce in the telecom market, many companies are looking for surefire ways to retain and expand their customer bases. By being able to offer multiple services, such as Internet and television, telecom providers stand a better chance at keeping their markets. Since M&A deals are a common way for telecom companies to expand service offerings quickly and efficiently, expect a lot of consolidation activity in the telecom sector this coming year.

Oil and Commodities Watch

The price of crude oil has recently dropped even lower than the bottom point over the last five years. If the price of this commodity remains stagnant, the M&A deals may just start flying. Lack of growth is often a trigger for mergers and acquisition activity, and despite the long-standing value of crude oil, this sector is not immune to the effects of stagnation in the market. Smaller companies with less-than-stellar balance sheets are at risk of a takeover in this sort of climate, and even big players in the industry are not safe. London-based BP, for example, has already had to cut jobs because of the market price slump.

Mining companies have already seen some early M&A activity. Glencore, a Switzerland-based mining conglomerate, approached London-based Rio Tinto Group toward the end of 2014 about a merger, surprising the commodity sector watchers. Rio rejected the proposal, which would have created an industry giant worth around $150 billion dollars. Analysts believe, however, that the deal may happen in 2015 because Rio has been hobbled by a slump in iron ore prices and Glencore needs an acquisition to supplement its declining base of assets.

Ukrainian Startup Company Viewdle Will Define Facial Recognition Software

>> Monday, January 26, 2015

Facial recognition software is becoming a big deal in social networking and mobile apps. It helps sites like Facebook tag the right people in posts, it’s making virtual reality a plausible thing and is pushing the limits of what video games can do.

Cutting Edge Facial Recognition Software

One of the biggest upcoming names in facial recognition software, Viewdle has been making waves over the past few years. The Ukrainian startup company that specializes in facial recognition and augmented reality was purchased by Google in 2012 for around $30 to $45 million USD. Initially, Motorola made a bid to purchase Viewdle, but once Google bought Motorola out, it decided to make the bid instead.

Viewdle began in 2006 in the Ukraine. The company is now based out of Silicon Valley, with operations in Europe, South America and the Ukraine. In 2008, it won the LeWeb startup competition, and in the past, it received funding from other big names, such as Best Buy Capital, Blackberry and more technology-based firms. An anonymous donor also gave Viewdle between $250k and $500k to get it going.

SocialCamera, ThirdEye and More

The company has multiple apps out already for Android and iOS, like SocialCamera, ThirdEye and others. Viewdle has acquired multiple patents relating to facial recognition not only to play it safe but also to make its mark on the industry. In addition to its focus on facial recognition, Google and Motorola have interest in the company and its “pattern recognition” software, as well. This technology can identify details such as gestures, age, smiles and other human characteristics. For example, it could easily distinguish between an adult and a child.

After Google purchased Viewdle in 2012, the CEO of Viewdle, Laurent Gil, left the company with rumors pointing to him taking on an executive role at an unknown company. After Gil left, another long-time senior member of Viewdle took over, Jason Mitura.

Will Viewdle Succeed?

Some people are calling facial recognition software a potential breach of privacy, but Mitura explained that Viewdle’s algorithms are only carried out within the device, thus never being transported to a server for processing. He pointed out that computer-based processing such as Apple’s iCloud, or cloud-based ones like Facebook are the ones that people should have concerns over.

One can assume that Google is looking to utilize Viewdle’s facial and pattern recognition software for its Android lines, or even Google+. Viewdle put in roughly 15 years of research and three years of production to make this technology come to life, which is capable of near-instant visual analysis. At face value, Google could use Viewdle to do what Facebook has done—photo tagging—but it’s always possible that the tech giant has more planned for this innovative technology.

Since 2012, the volume of venture capital put into Ukrainian tech startups has decreased dramatically. Time will tell if luck gave Viewdle a chance or if its amazing technology is what made it shine and catch the eye of major companies. Not much has been mentioned of Viewdle in the past few years, but with a company as secretive as Google, it usually means that something big is in the works.

Prioritizing Plans for our Church Place

>> Thursday, January 22, 2015

As one of our plans this year is to maximize our finances for all our expenses we also applies it to our church when the idea of replacing the old drum set was discussed. The new set is so expensive so we suggested that we look for replacement drum parts instead of buying the whole set. There are things to prioritize and we plan to list our most needed projects and needs.

We also have to save finances to look for a lot for lease for our church because we’re moving out in few months. We’re considering new ideas on buying a lot or having a lease instead of renting a space on expensive buildings. Hope we’ll be able to settle for something stable as it’s tasking to move places and location.

Ideas on Starting Up a Coffee Plantation Business

>> Wednesday, January 21, 2015

Start of the year and since online job is not at its peak these days I’m thinking of starting a small business to earn extra income. I have a full-time corporate job but I still have to earn more for few months before my husband graduates and gets a slot in the teaching profession, well at least for a quarter of a year or so.

I’m thinking of venturing into a food delivery or accessory business like I saw in joyjewelers.com but the prospect of starting a coffee plantation is beginning to excite me. As we already have a vast land to plant trees maybe we could use up some great ideas on reviving the old plantation but instead of coconut I’m more apt to coffee and cocoa planting. Well everything is good for now but I still have to study the business before I invest.
