>> Sunday, November 30, 2008

Our company is into telecommunications services, VOIP, prepaid cards, unlimited calling platforms and service contracts. Since we’re a pioneering company we don’t have much marketing to boost our company’s good services. The sales and marketing team are thinking of ways to increase our sales. We came upon online the use digital signage to boost sales and profits but we still have to do some feasibility if we can improve our business with this new innovation.

Chips Delight at Galinco Land

Do your kids love chips delight? Well if you love chocolate chips cookies and you don't want to spend a lot you should try Chips Delight, crunchy, delicious and affordable too! Well we had a chance to have a preview and learn the process of doing this yummy cookies when my kids had a field trip last Nov. 22.

Parents were not allowed to enter the factory but the teachers told me to replace them so I can also watch over my kids especially Josh. They only allowed 3 guardians to go with the kids and that's only for the purpose of ensuring that the kids will be properly watched and protected from any accident.

As I've watched the demo of how they mix and cook cookies I'll share some here. The process was summarized in five steps and here in the picture you can see how they taught the kids with the use of Galinco land picture. The steps are :
First - Mr. Germ Army for sanitation
Second - Magic Dough - for mixing the ingredients
Third - Mr. Vulcan where the dough mixture will be baked
Fourth - Windy Valley where thousands of baked chips delight were being inspected and aired Fifth/Last - Mr Wrapper where the cookies will be wrapped ready for delivery and selling

Orlando Vacations

>> Saturday, November 29, 2008

My friend is planning to go to Hongkong Disneyland this coming holiday but she’s on the verge of changing her plans when she came upon online listing of Orlando vacations available for toddlers and grannies. She always wanted a vacation for the whole family and Orlando, Florida seems a nice destination with its magical places like Disney World, Sea World and Universal Orlando. Oh well she still have one month to decide.

Curious As A Cat: Week Number 145

>> Friday, November 28, 2008

1) How do you show someone that they are special to you? I care about them and love them unconditionally, most of the times I cook something special for them

2) What would be on your menu if you knew your next meal would be your last one? I will not think of a grand menu, I'll just include fruits!

3) If you could have said one thing to Harry Truman the day he decided to drop the atomic bomb, what would you have said? Conscience will always be there to remind you of this dark day!

4) Who is the person you would most like to help? I'll start with my own churchmates!

5) Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one. The chicken are planning some ways on how they can escape from their miserable condition lol!

Staying On Hotels!

My sister-in-law loves to travel to different places and she’s been rounding up various countries in Europe in her vacation trips. Staying on beach resorts and hotels is a common thing to her when she’s on other land. Last year she visited Egypt, Italy and her homeland Philippines and she stayed in their hometown in Samar where the beach stays beautifully intact. I wonder if she’s going to America on her next travel, she may want to stay on las vegas hotel or some other nice hotels around depending on where she’ll be wanting to tour around. She deserves to enjoy her vacation wherever she wants because she works hard for it.

Boost Your Energy Level!

>> Thursday, November 27, 2008

I’m feeling very tired since last week before and after my kids’ school activities. We were very happy about the field trip but after that my works piled up and I had to stay late at night just to finish my assignments before the due dates. I’m thinking of taking energy pills to boost my energy level and stopped fatigue from invading my body. I need this to do all my everyday activities with enough strength and stamina. I also need to be intellectually healthy so I can do my office works efficiently and have fresh ideas on my write-ups.

Educational Tour - Manila Zoo

>> Tuesday, November 25, 2008

Our first stop on my kids' educational trip last Saturday was at the Manila Zoo. It's still there in Manila because the supposed relocation was cancelled. It looks like it has been newly cleaned and retouched but some places still looks old to me like the wishing pond which was very dirty and look unkept. Anyway children were excited 'as always' they never seem to run out of energy, don't they?

They were given one hour to round up the place so I got Gen's paper and pen to jot down the animals that they saw (their assignment). I listed elephant, alligator, crocodile, zebra, horse, burmese phyton, snake, turtle, hippopotamus, deer, ostrich, tiger, monkeys, gorilla, birds, rabbit, fishes, painted stork, peacock, eagle, etc.

I'm actually looking for my favorite giraffe and lion but I learned that the lion was transferred to Avalon Zoo and good old giraffe accidentally ate a kind of plastic wrapper that caused him to die, sad! This is the reason why cleanliness is now strictly implemented there. If only people knows how to put their trash in the proper areas my dear giraffe would still be alive now, sad!

Acne and Treatment

>> Monday, November 24, 2008

I was asked by my 11-year old daughter if she will have acne when she gets older. As early as now she's aware that some of her schoolmates are starting to develop this kind of skin disorder. She wanted me to give her an assurance that I'll know how to deal with it when her time comes. I told her that having acne depends on your eating and sleeping habit and it's also on the genes.

I remember my cousin who used to have acne has been consulting her dermatologists about acne and treatment and she told me that maybe she got it from her father's genetic history. Her father also has the same skin disorder. Anyway there's plenty of treatment available online. Look at what I've browsed here.

:Today's Flowers #16

>> Sunday, November 23, 2008

Click picture to enlarge!

These are nice cute flowers that grows abundantly anywhere but this shot was taken at Calamba, Laguna on our swimming there. Actually it's a school educational tour and because Luisa Ridge resort has a wide area full of flowering shrubs and plants I spent my time rounding up the place and took plenty of pictures. What's cute about this flower is that a different color of flower grows inside the pink flowers! I like the simplicity of this one, small and pretty!

Got another entry here!

Gained Some Pounds!

>> Thursday, November 20, 2008

For the last 6 months now I’ve gained lots of pounds. It started when I got sick and became conscious that if I don’t eat properly I might develop a more serious sickness other than over fatigue and colds. I eat the same volume of food as I eat on lunchtime making me heavier because we all know that food taken on late hours normally gains us pounds.

Oh well my appetite developed again and it was nice spending dinner nights with hubby so here I am heavier by 10 pounds. I was browsing the net looking for some sites on healthy diet foods when I chanced upon Leptovox diet pill. I learned that it has high quality ingredients and will help in weight loss and developing beautiful skin but I’m still thinking what diet plan I should really go for this time.

Lunch With Jen

>> Saturday, November 15, 2008

Had lunch with Bes JennyL today as an advance birthday celebration. Actually she scheduled shopping today on Greenhills to buy some things for herself. Since I will not make it tomorrow to go to their house in the afternoon to join her family I went with her. This year we didn't planned anything on her birthday, it just came up that we can have a date today! We arranged to meet in Virra Mall where she'll be rounding up tiangge there but when I arrived late she was there in front of me when I alighted from the vehicle making face at me lol!

I showed her the restaurant along with Tender Bobs Steak House and upon passing and rounding up around thrice we decided to eat at Las Paellas where of course Paellas are the house specialty. No we didn't ordered their specialty because Jen was craving for steak something, she wanted ala gourmet style but later content herself to Babyback Ribs while I ordered Porkchop Andaluz. Food are great except for the seasoning (they only served Knorr seasoning, not the usual special sauces and seasoning in a steak house)

Their iced tea were perfect, it has a very fresh taste unlike the usual iced tea served on some restos. For the dessert we had Mango Mambo and I can say it's so refreshingly good. See pictures here grabbed from her blog, Bes was too busy to send it to me so she told me to just grab them!

This is the yummy Buffalo Wings in Don Henricos
photo shot on Bes JennyL's birthday last year

It's one of my favorites in this restaurant, sad that their branch just a few blocks from our office closed down when the Eastwood Chain of Restaurants in Libis boomed. I remember when I was still pregnant with my youngest child I used to eat there at lunch because the meat is so tender, perfectly flavored and has a white sauce that makes it more delicious! When my office friends were busy to accompany me our office messenger would offer to buy for us, he'll just walk a few meters and we'll have buffalo wings for lunch!

Happy Friday and enjoy your weekend with your loved ones;)

Losing Excess Fat

>> Thursday, November 13, 2008

It’s very easy to gain weight but very hard to lose it. Sometimes I observed that if you gain a pound you’ll only lose half of it when you diet. Well the best diet plan should be coupled also with the best discipline. My officemate keep on telling us that one should schedule at least an hour of exercise to keep your adrenalin going and to shed unwanted pounds, it’s one of the best slimming strategy and very good for the body. Next thing is balanced diet meaning you eat the right kind of food.

If you look on the chart of balanced nutrition you’ll see the pyramid that people should eat more on the Glow foods, average on Grow Foods and less on the Go Foods. If all these failed to give you your desired weight maybe you should start looking for best fat burners to help you burn excess fat, restore your energy levels and keep you on your best physique condition.

Vacation Plans

>> Monday, November 10, 2008

My sis and I have been planning early our summer getaway and we’re eyeing the land of my husband’s parents, the beautiful beaches in Samar. My in-laws were always there twice a year to check on their house and to have a vacation as well.

Their house is just a few meters away from the white sand beach so it’s very convenient to spend vacation in their place. Best thing of all is that the beach there is free. It wasn’t operated by anyone so everybody can have fun without cost. Of course we would also love going to faraway place other than Samar. There are lots of beautiful places here and abroad. I would also love to book for an Outer Banks rentals in the future. We all love travel and vacation.
