Imagine sitting into one of those swing chairs while discussing company plans and activities to your colleagues and boss, what a thought!

Corporate meetings and conference are sometimes stressful due to topics of operation, situation of the company and a lot of things pertaining to the company.  Well it would be so much comfortable if your meetings would be in a more relaxed environment like what my former boss used to do.  Sir Bob would bring us to a good restaurant and held the meeting there while we talk about his plans for the company and what we should do to strengthen our team.

I still remember how he used to include me in his meeting with Telco managers to his own steak restaurant in Libis and Greenhills.  I could never really find a boss as kind as him but I'm also happy that I'm now working in the convenience of my home.  My current job as Admin. Head would just be a temporary one as I'm going to return to a full-time writing job.

Better Conferencing Services

Working in corporate office is a lot more advanced now than in the past generation where setting up a meeting could take few days or more than one week because each member should fit it in their schedule before they can commit attendance. A conference cannot be done immediately because there are few people that will not be able to come. As meeting delays can affect the operation I’m glad that scheduling conference is not that hard with audio conferencing services which can give any company a way of meeting up members even without their physical appearance.

When I learned this thing more than three years ago I was really glad because on my past work I always have to communicate with our international suppliers and clients. With this kind of conferencing services meeting up with them is easier as you only have to set the day and time and you’ll all be there. With less time on the conference we’ll assume that there’s more time for the operations side of the business.

Not Here On Her Birthday

It’s Osang’s birthday today but she’s going to give us a blowout next week as she’s currently in Cebu now attending the Asian Carrier Conference together with some managers and boss. Since she’ll be there on her birthday and their wedding anniversary too we learned that her family will follow her and they will spend their weekends in the beautiful scenic place of Bohol province. Wow that’s a nice celebration! I like beach resorts and Bohol beaches are known for its beautiful cove and beachfront also. Sad that some Filipino land owners there are selling their beachfront properties to foreigners. Anyway I’ll just wait for their pictures of the place.

Asian Carrier Conference in Cebu

Sir Bobby finished all meetings, released payables and instructed us all on our assigned duties. He asked Joey to be in-charge while they’re away for the yearly Asian Carrier Conference in Cebu when all carriers/telcos all over the Philippines gather for 3 days starting Sept. 10-11 for conference and meeting with each company registered as carrier. This conference includes all major and minor telecommunications company in the Philippines. It’s a big celebration on the telco world. BT&T’s representatives were Osang our sales and marketing head, our business development manager Berry Tenchavez, Executive Vice President Bobby Tenchavez and my senior boss Sir Bob Tenchavez as our President and Chairman.
