Wishes Granted!

>> Tuesday, April 13, 2010

I’m wishing for drizzles yesterday and this morning my wish was granted our backyard soil was wet and all plants were watered. It’s not the first time I wished for that and happened the next day! I remember the last time that I was affected by the afternoon news that talked about El NiƱo and I wrote it in my blog. Then I wished for some rain and the next day after that it rained. Well I count such little things as blessings from God.

It makes me happy to know and feel that my little wishes are being heard by Him. Of course I’ve known for a long time that He’s good to me all the time because He’s shown many miracles in my life and two of those are my daughter’s lump in the head and my Mom’s blindness. These two were cured miraculously without the help of medicine and I was glad for His merciful grace. To Him Be the Glory.

Work Blessing is a Gift from God

>> Thursday, March 18, 2010

I’m amazed that until this time of the day I’m still not sleepy. I only had a one-hour sleep last night because of some due and grabbed tasks I can’t resist to take. Good enough for me as I’m really saving up for my kids’ tuition fees come April this year. I’m very thankful that blessings are pouring in almost everyday this week. Though my work is up to my neck I can schedule my work to beat my deadlines. I’m also happy that my pending applications are now approved.

I feel so blessed now that my decision to choose this job instead of my stable office employment has proved to be God's will because He always provides opportunities for me. I feel as if God has given me this wonderful gift of being able to work while I attend to my family's needs. Thank you Lord! I'm sharing this verse to somehow guide you in making decisions.

When It Rains…..

>> Tuesday, July 7, 2009

My Mom loves to quote most of the time and she carries it until now even if she’ has already retired from her teaching profession. She always has words of wisdom for little things that comes in our lives. Now that I’m having many works lined up for me in my sites and just grab numerous assignments she told that 'When it rains it pours'. And she’s right as I’m having a great time and at the same time a hard time too in finishing my works. My sleeping hours are limited to 4 hours or even less this week and I do work even on office break time. I keep telling myself that it’s ok because I only have less than 2 weeks remaining in my office job and I’m going to rest after I’ve finished with it.

God Protects

>> Sunday, May 31, 2009

We’re on our way to our Sunday service and headed to our church on a somewhat fast travel. Suddenly hubby slowed down a bit without reason and even he didn’t know why he switched to a relaxed driving. After a moment of a somewhat slow driving while we’re just a few minutes and three streets away from our church something caught at our front tire and blowup.

It’s lucky that it happened where we can park our car on the side of the road where there’s an available parking area. If that happened along E. Rodriguez at Libis we will be towed by the roaming tow truck service there. What a good God we have and perfect timing! When we stopped and parked we discovered that our tire was busted and if we didn’t slowed down before it happened God knows what will happen on us. After almost one hour we’ve fixed the tire and continued our travel thanking God of his merciful protection on us. God is good all the time.
