Ako'y Isang Pinoy

>> Wednesday, September 2, 2009

Josh school had their Linggo ng Wika celebration last friday. Again parents and guardians were requested to join our kids to assist them in their costumes and to see their prepared presentation. As always every student has his/her own participation in their program. Josh was asked to prepare polo, maong pants, shades, toy guitar and long hair wig. For what? Their group was assigned to sing a Freddie Aguilar song 'Ako'y Isang Pinoy' (I am a Filipino).

We had a hard time choosing hats that resembles Freddie's but Redge was offered a nice rounded hat by her officemates, but for the log hair wig I decided not to follow as it's hard to look for long straight hair wig. The one that was rented to Josh was very feminine with brown color and a little curly, I wouldn't have it and Josh didn't want those pins in his head also. Anyway all kids didn't wear their wigs so my decision was right.

Birthday Blowout

>> Thursday, September 18, 2008

As promised Osang gave her birthday blowout today, here in our office we really love to eat and every birthday that falls on weekdays were never missed to celebrate. Sometimes if it falls on weekends we adjust it to the following working days. Osang brought chicken lollipops, lumpiang shanghai and ordered cake and lechon manok. She also requested Art to cook liempo in turbo. Well this is not all because Rissa came with a cake also and another visitor brought another. That’s not a problem anyway because we love cakes! We really like having Rissa around on birthdays because we miss her since she left BT&T last year. She’s as pretty as ever even if she’s 3 months preggy! Well now everybody seemed to forget diet lol!

Just look at the pictures and you’ll say yummy!

Mother's Day For Two Moms

>> Sunday, May 11, 2008

It's our day dear Mommies all over the globe. I really want this day as days like this one things don't go the normal way. My eldest Ruth and hubby cooked breakfast and it's good to wake up without rushing up to cook for them, I love to cook but sometimes I'm so tired after a night's blogging.

Since it falls on Sunday we finished our fellowship service before we go somewhere to have dinner. Redge went home first to pickup Mom from our house and they've gone shopping in Robinsons metro east before we got there before 7pm. It was a dinner for two generation of mothers, my Mom and I which Redge always fondly calls 'The Super Moms'. Of course we were always flattered every time she speaks about it. We ate at Greenwich because it's the choice of my dear kids and we seniors always follows! Anyway we all want pizza, salad and pasta.

I received little gifts and some sweet notes from my kids and was thankful to God for having such a loving family. I have a doting mother, understanding and caring husband, thoughtful sister, very kind brother and lovable kids. What more can I ask for! And you know what? When you ask my Mom you'll be amazed that she'll answer you with the very same phrases. Like mother like daughter, really!!!
