:PH#201 : Cuddly Stuffed Toys

>> Saturday, February 20, 2010

Click images for a larger view

These are cuddly stuffed toys in SM North Edsa's Quantum arcade where my kids love to play while waiting for their Dad to log out from work on some occasions that we're there. These toys were so hard to get but some of hubby's officemate come to know the technique and proper timing to pick these toys. So far we have almost near a dozen of these kinds and my kids love them all!

PH#179 - Upside Down

>> Saturday, September 19, 2009

These pictures were taken during Josh playful antics in our sofa, he was just one and a half years old here and so active! He was beaming with happiness here as he's doing some acrobat-like :-) positions. My camera was with me then and even if he's not what I'm take a shot at I immediately took some shots and sit beside him ton control him. I was worried that he might fall or he might break some limbs hmm Josh had my heartbeat in fast beats!

PH#178 - Electric (Fountain)

>> Saturday, September 12, 2009

This is the electric-controlled fountain in the new Sky Garden in SM North Edsa Mall (Philippines) where hubby toured us when we visited him last Saturday in his work place. It's actually Josh' birthday then and we thought of going to hubby's work than wait for him in the evening in our house. We sort of saved time for our celebration of our youngest birthday.

Anyway the Sky Dome where Sky Garden is also located has plenty of restaurants, fountains, ponds, stores and nice corners for picture taking. We enjoyed the tour and ended it with Josh motor ride and dinner at KFC - the family's favorite :-)

:PH#176 - Surprise!

BIRTHDAY SURPRISE!

It's always a surprise for kids whenever it's their birthday with the numerous gifts they receive on their special day. For them there is no small or big gifts as long as they have gifts to open they're happy enough. That's the wonder of being a child, the contentment on the simple things in life. They appreciates even the smallest and simplest of things like my son Josh here on his birthday last year (he's going to turn 6 next week). Look at his excitement on his classmate's gift to him, you can feel that he's very happy.

I just thought of including the second pic with his surprised and happy look as I took a shot on him while he and his classmates were eating his birthday snack.

:Photo Hunt#175 - Ripples

>> Saturday, August 22, 2009

While others tend to avoid water I really searched for some water photos but reminded myself to use a subject on the water so I decided to pick on this one. I like this shot of fish pond when my office friends were in Hongkong with plenty of fishes mostly gold fish swimming endlessly :-) (of course they're fishes and water is their habitat). Well that causes some ripples on the water. There I got my theme!

: Photohunt 174 : Artificial (Clock)

>> Saturday, August 15, 2009

As I'm in my kids' school yesterday with our Induction of Officers I thought of taking a shot on this artificial clock used by the kindergarten class. We used the kinder class room to prepare the foods for the occasion and I just spotted this one for a photo hunt idea. The teacher used this artificial clock to teach the basic of learning how to read the time. Well I had some pretty shots on other areas of this room and will save them for other themes. Happy weekend!

:Photohunt 173 : Low (Grounds)

>> Saturday, August 8, 2009

Well as I'm thinking early this day what will I post for the photohunt theme I came across my friend Win's picture of their domestic flight to Aklan. He actually gave me this picture because he took the picture for my collections lol! He's also learning photography like me.

So now this is my entry because the plane is on the LOW grounds before it will go up on high grounds, see my picture is just right for the theme! Anyway I really liked the shot from where Win stand because it captured the beautiful sky above with white and gray clouds, perfect background for the plane.

:Photohunt 168: Pink (Flowers)

>> Saturday, July 4, 2009

I've chosen these beautiful flowers for my entry this week. These are two flowers with different shades of pink but both are equally pretty. I've always loved pink flowers ever since I was a kid because it's so feminine and it exudes an air of innocence just like white ones. The first photo was taken in the garden of St. Audry Learning Center where Josh is studying and the second photo is just over the fence, from my cousin's pots of flowers, nice resources :-) I have another entry at my Beyond Horizons

Photohunt : Advertisement

>> Sunday, June 7, 2009

Know why I have this one for my entry? If you've been to the whole 15th avenue these days the whole street is filled with these Eight O'clock promo banners. It's all over the place and only the blinds will not see it lol! Anyway this one was taken across our church, just took some snapshots after our service.

Everywhere you can hear and see about juices with Iced Tea flavor, people I think are becoming addicted to Iced Tea drinks. Well this one offers Immuno Active Eight O'clock Iced Tea in Sulit Trio packs and I'm sure this advertisement will hit the public, people tend to try new flavors and promotional offers.

Photohunt : Book(s)

>> Saturday, May 30, 2009

These books are two of my mom's favorite reading companion before she has undergone an eye surgery for her left eye cataract. Noticed that the medical book has already some signs of age as she's been using it since we were very young. She's very interested in knowing the causes, symptoms and the cure for the regular sickness of people. She even has a book for herbal healing using water as the main remedy for some of the sickness.

The second book is the holy bible which is our book to heal not only the physical sickness but spiritual as well. These two provides a lot of help to us.
