Feeling Healthy with Proper Diet

When my resignation was approved and I was asked to at least stay for one whole month to turn over my work I felt very happy and can’t believe that after one year and 2 months my request for resignation was finally approved. I didn’t want to leave the company without the true approval of my boss, that’s actually the reason why it took me so long to realize my dream.

I planned my last one month to be my most hectic days but it’s not until I have reached my half month that I finally had the time to do it all. Bad thing about me is that if I’m overworked I eat a lot too, may be that’s my rebelling moments of my overstressed mind. I’m thinking then how to lose belly fat without enrolling in a gym class or without proper exercises. Then I thought of adopting fruit and vegetables’ diet and now I can say I’m starting to lose some pounds as weeks go by. I’m happy with my adopted diet plan as I’m feeling healthy everyday with what I’m eating.

Finest Inspirational Music

It’s nice to do blogging while listening to inspirational music, it gives me lots of ideas to write and makes my day inspiring too. I was by the way accompanied by Josh as his preparatory classes ended at 10am. After doing all his assignments by my side he’ll choose among the CDs we have, his favorite is Don Moen’s songs, of course one of my favorite also. He’s very happy with our new JVC components and not a day passes that he’ll go over our Christian CDs to listen and sing along.

Actually I play all my CDs in my PC while I’m doing online jobs and blogging but lately I’m not getting the finest sounds I want from my PC speaker so we decided to buy the mentioned components which was on sale at around 60% off the original price from Automatic Center in North Edsa. It's not the best and the latest model but it's what we only need, no more no less. It was a good buy for us and we used credit card at 6-months plan with no interest rate. Great deals right?

: Photohunt 174 : Artificial (Clock)

As I'm in my kids' school yesterday with our Induction of Officers I thought of taking a shot on this artificial clock used by the kindergarten class. We used the kinder class room to prepare the foods for the occasion and I just spotted this one for a photo hunt idea. The teacher used this artificial clock to teach the basic of learning how to read the time. Well I had some pretty shots on other areas of this room and will save them for other themes. Emergency Funds

You’ll never really know sometimes when emergency situation arises and you’re left with no money available to use for certain cases like that. It’s good if you have saved some money for extra needs but if you didn’t whose going to save you from your dilemma. When I was still working I’ve known some people in the same company who would risk giving their ATM cards as collateral just to be given a cash advance with high interest to pay for. Arranging Few Important Things

After my resignation I’ve arranged few things that need immediate attention like reminding my former office about my certifications for employment, SSS/HDMF/Philhealth contributions. I need to have these certifications because I’m going to continue them even if I’ve retired from office employment. Actually I’ve completed the needed number of months for SSS early retirement and will just have to wait for my age maturity to avail my premiums. As soon as I’ve graduated from college I immediately landed a job that’s why I’ve enough premium contributions. But I want to continue paying and my family agreed with my decision as it’s a security also for me and my family.

I also added a personal bank account in my list as I’m using a payroll account for my income proceeds, then I added it to my paypal. It’s easy to add bank account in your paypal, you just have to know the list of bank codes available here in the Philippines and you’ll have it added in your paypal bank lists.

:Food Friday - Nutritional Foods (Chopsuey)

This is the entry of Grade 6 level in Nutritional Foods Competition in last month's celebration of nutrition month. I've enclosed a picture detailing the basic ingredients used to cook this very healthy and delicious chopsuey, well for me it's really yummy as I love veggies especially chopsuey. I also cook chopsuey in my house but I don't put chicken on it. I used chicken liver as the meat ingredients and breaded chicharon tofu to put on top and all over the menu. Anyway as they cooked beside us we exchanged plates to them to taste their food. It's delicious and veggies are nicely cooked without overcooking. They got the second place though I think my chopsuey recipe is more economical and healthy because of the tofu ingredients (Just an opinion :-)).

Devoting Time to My Children

Since I’ve resigned from my work almost a month ago I’ve devoted my time to my family especially attending to my kids’ school activities. Lucky that the time I was permitted by my boss with my resignation the activities in my daughters’ school began to multiply. Now it’s occupying most of my time that sometimes my online work gets noticed and done at night. I was happy with my life’s pattern now and can honestly say giving not only quality time to my kids but quantity as well. School time gets the most time of my kids so I visit them on lunch breaks every other day to assist them in any way I can. As this is the first periodical period in primary school they have plenty of projects to finish and parents should help them in some projects that need online research.

I can see that Gen and Ruth became more dedicated in their academic and extra curricular activities owing to the fact that I’m always there for them whatever and whenever. I’ve always been this way but hours spent in my office works deprived me from other assistance they need. Now they know I’m just working at home and they feel confident that I’m only a phone call away just in case they need something. Children love being pampered most of the times. They also liked it when parents provide them with all the things they need.

Actually it’s also a privilege to us parents to provide them with school supplies, shoes, bags and everything they need. Sometimes if we can’t do the shopping outside because of busy schedule we can do our shopping online. :Thursday Challenge - Rare

Rare Coins

My entry for this week's theme are some of my collection of old coins which for me are rare these days as these coins were replaced by many generation of silver coins. These coins were made in early '70s and my collection dates from 1972 to 1974. These coins are very different with the latest coins as it has money value. I've learned from one of my former office mate that in their place these coins were bought at P600 and up. Actually they sell some of their collections. When I was still in primary and secondary schooling it's my hobby to collect stamps and old coins. These One-Peso coins are my favorites as it has a deep engraved face of Jose Rizal's, Philippine National Hero. You can gauge from the picture that it's really rare, just see how old it is.
