4. Cream of corn soup is best with a spoon.

5. The best movie I've seen lately is about father and daughter and I cried remembering my dad who passed away already.

6. My daughter's flair for arts is what I like; but her cooking hobby is what I love best.  She's thinking which of the two will she pursue in college.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to resting early to regain my strength, tomorrow my plans include finishing my tasks and cooking one of my fave recipe and Sunday, I want to wake early to prepare for fellowship service!

She’s Turned 12!

My daughter turned 12 yesterday and we had a small celebration for her with her classmates during their lunch break. She had 15 guests who went all the way from school to our house to greet her. The birthday celebration was really a joyous and happy one and Gen told me that it was her happiest birthday ever because she had her best friends in school with her. They will graduate from primary school this year and they will be separated from each other when they enter secondary school. She’ll be studying in a Christian school while her close friends will be in other school of their choices.

I’m beginning to feel that slowly she’ll be turning from a girl to a young lady. My little girl has grown so fast that she’s almost my height now. I wouldn’t be surprised in few years if she’ll be asking me about teenage girls’ things like crushes, dressing up, skin problems and many other things that she’ll be passing through. Hope it won’t be acne scar removal because I wouldn’t want her to have problems with acne.

I was lucky that I wasn’t so sensitive in my teenage years that I only encountered such problem once or twice only. I hope that my two daughters will be like me because having skin problems is one of the common problems among teenage kids. It also causes inferiority complex to some kids so it’s better to protect and maintain a clear skin free from acne, pimples and other skin disorders.

Missing My Friend in Australia

I’ve talked to my friend in Australia and asked their condition there even though I know they’re not affected by the big flood. I just missed her suddenly and remembered our good times together in our past work in Design Science doing technical proposals in the night. What I loved most were our lunch escapades where we’ll go out at our office inside the village at lunchtime and try some restaurants that offer delicious foods. We love eating and trying out different foods and restaurants.

She met her kind and handsome husband online and married him after a year. She’s now happily living in Australia and enjoying the life there. She has a problem with her thyroid and undergoing treatment just like hypothyroid treatment austin so they could have a baby soon. They both agreed that they will be fine with or without baby. That wouldn’t be a hindrance to their love for each other. I wish and pray that she’ll be healed soon. I know that she’s doing great now.  She'll be having a vacation here this year and I'm excited to see her again.

Keeping Us Cool on Summer Days

After our camp meeting DH arranged our appliances and repaired electric fans stored in the stock room in preparation for the summer heat. I was thinking of getting some ceiling fans to maximize space for the house. I remember our old ceiling fan with beautiful lights below the fans which was quite decorative for me. Living in a tropical country with sunnier than cold days made us always think of ways on how we can make our environment fresh and cool. I’m not much on using air conditioners in the house because it’s a lot painful to see high electric bills at the end of the month lol!

1. It's 2011; I started the year with family bonding on the beach.

3. Thankfully I have my laptop to use wherever I go.

4. God gives us the best things in life so we should be always grateful and thankful.

5. I am so blessed in life and I always pray to God to guide and protect us from any harm.

6. I missed playing my favorite sports in the bowling lane.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to having a mild massage before sleeping, tomorrow my plans include doing all expiring tasks after almost a week of rest from blogging and Sunday, I want to plan Gen's birthday and our bible hosting on her birthday!

I’m not that familiar with freights and trucking but when I was still employed I was trained to learn anything that my employers will ask me about. Anyway I wasn’t forced to learn it I just need to get some important details on how to search about unlimited freight posting and truck searching. It was about a proposed business that will involve freights but it was cancelled before it ever began.

Well I did learn that there’s a site that will help you to ship and move your freight and help you find the high-paying truckload freight and reliable trucks. I browse upon the best load board for truckload freight and remembered my friend’s sister who is currently involved in business which requires a lot of truckload freight and this might help her. I will just tell her about the site and she might be glad to know it as I will not be able to do it for her. I’m just good in researching and finding sites where they can get details and information because I don’t have the luxury of time to do it for them myself.

Birthdays are Special

It’s almost a week now since my birthday and I’m happy to know that my friends whom I haven’t seen for so long remembered to greet me on that day! Of course my birthday wouldn’t be so special without my husband’s bunch of white roses and my kids’ little greeting cards. I’m not the kind who expects too much for a gift and even without it I’m happy. It’s the thought that counts they said so greetings or simple gestures of text, twitter and FB messages are fine. My daughter was asking me few weeks ago if I want bears for bithdays because she loves it herself. She’s very fond of stuff toys and anything that’s soft and cuddly even now that she’s a teen already. Of course I’ll love it also especially if it’s given by my loved ones. Birthdays are special days and every single thought counts.

Renovation Ideas for the House

We’re planning to divide our big house into two and my brother will be designing a duplex house to have a more flexible kind. The kids are growing up so fast and we really need to have a place of our own and because our house is so big it’s not practical to get a housing loan just to have our own home. Since our old house can accommodate two or more families we decided to make it a duplex house. Now we’re getting excited with the upcoming designs of my brother who will also look into the construction of the mentioned project.

I’m searching through ideas of kitchen Cabinets  because that’s my favorite corner of the house where I can be my own boss. I love cooking and baking and I want all my utensils and small kitchen accessories in order. I don’t want clutter that’s why I need to organize things in the cabinets. I will ask my brother to look into their array of designs and he’ll decide which is right for our duplex house. We just need to save more in order to afford the planned project.
