>> Tuesday, January 26, 2010

Wordless Wednesday
This is what Robin (Josh in Robin's costume) is doing these days., talking and playing to Princess. He's so fond of our little Princess even if the baby sometimes pinch him everywhere. Josh doesn't mind because he says she's just a baby :-). She's my niece' 7-month old baby and been a constant delight to see her smiling, laughing, crying and playing in our compound. She's such a cutie baby and growing so prettily. She also loves to see Josh that when Josh approach her she will immediately smile. I told Josh that his face is funny lol :-)

Looking for Project Software

I’ve recently talked to my former office mate and she’s now employed in a different company that relies mainly on automated system on all departments and aspects of their works. Since their system is so efficient there are no reasons to make a lot of mistakes and works are expected to be perfect.

Her only problem is that of handling a new project that’s not included in the current system they have. She didn’t want to be so demanding on the company to have bigger funds for her project but she wanted software that will run it efficiently. I told her to try project management software because it will not be as expensive as other system software. She’s thinking about my advice and probably will try this new suggestion of mine. Anyway she really needs some piece of advice from me since we’ve worked hand in hand with big projects years ago.

Make Money Out of Old Coins and Jewelries

I used to have collections of many sorts when I was a child. I collect stamps from my godparents in Spain, California and other parts of the world. I collect stationeries of Sanrio and other cute items. They’re all my collections when I was in my young teens’ period but the only collection that I have until now are my photos and old coins. It somehow reminisce my childhood days with my playmates and siblings. The coin collection started with my Mom’s old coin which she gave to me for keepsake and I got excited over it that starting on that day I keep some old coins for my collection when the government replaced them with new ones.

Sometimes there are buyers roaming around our place and tried to coax me to Sell Gold Coins from my collections but I can’t part with them even if they offer a high price. I’m glad that my precious old coins appreciate its value over the years but the thought of selling them now is not open to me. I keep telling myself that it’s also an investment that if things get tough I’ll have something to sell or have fall back.

Well for those who are not so sentimental as I am and want to get the most cash from your collections you can Sell Gold to Refinity.com. If you sell your gold coins you will not only earn money but you can help protect our planet as well. Refinity.com is an eco-friendly refinery that buys old coins and refines precious metal scrap items for other usage thus minimizing mining and the risk of environmental hazard. You can also Sell Jewelry collection of yours that’s not of fashion anymore or those that have broken chains. Well sometimes we want to remove our old jewelries that have gone out of style or occupying your jewelry case for too long. Some people don’t want to have too much jewelry to keep and just want the new ones. For whatever reasons you may have you can make money from it and buy new investment. You can visit their site now and make the most cash money out of your collections.

Learning Some Electrical Repairs

>> Saturday, January 23, 2010

DH’s day off last Thursday was a good day for all of us aside from celebrating his birthday one day earlier. He has managed to repair some of our appliances which have malfunctioned after the flood has submerged our house up to neck-deep water. He has helped Ruth in making her electrical project in school which was not so easy with grade school students. DH has no knowledge of any electrical repairs but managed to follow directions from DIY guide and after more than an hour he has repaired two electric fans and our washing machine. He just asked me for some clamps to help him fasten some small objects because they keep on moving and getting out of place. I noticed that he’s happy doing those works and I told him he can study some short course if he wants to learn more.

:Food Friday - Hubby's Birthday Food!

>> Friday, January 22, 2010

Today is dear husband's birthday and these are his birthday foods. We celebrated it in advance yesterday as he filed a leave of absence yesterday for a one-day vacation rest in Tagaytay. We didn't go on with the plan of going to highlands of Tagaytay but we spent the day together in the house and decided to cook and celebrate his birthday yesterday. We went to the mall in the morning with Josh as he's on an early morning school schedule and bought some food and electrical supplies for the house.

Later in the afternoon I cooked pasta and chicken, made some delightful fruit salad and ordered cake. My girls were surprised at the advance celebration when they arrived but were happy with it. They were expecting that we're still in Tagaytay. Well everything happens on purpose, maybe on our next plan my young girls will have no exams and they will able to come with us.

Happy Food Friday to all, see other yummy foods here!

Graduation Meeting Reminders

I must hurry up with my work even if I'm a little tipsy from overnight blogging yesterday which lasted until 3am today. I need to attend my daughter's graduation meeting for parents and guardians. We'll discuss the rules, the fees to be paid, clothes to wear and all things concerning their elementary graduation. Ruth reminded me this meeting for about four times just to be sure that I won't forget because I have many things on hand these past few days and she thought that I might miss not the day but the time of the meeting. Well she said it in all smiles.

Family Vacation This Month

>> Thursday, January 21, 2010

Since I had a bad fall last month I’m not the usual me in everything that I do. I’m weaker now and having my energy lasting for some hours only. I used to be a very energetic person and I do my chores super fast that my family would always call me super mom. Now I feel slightly bad that I can’t do things the way I can previously that I’m planning to have a vacation sometime this month or next month. Since I can’t have it on my own as I also want my kids and hubby with me I’m planning a weekend family vacation so they can come without affecting their school activities and hubby’s work. I know with proper sleep, rest and relaxation I can bring back my body’s health back to its normal condition.

If only we have more funds for our vacation I would also love a vacation somewhere along the beach resorts like in Karisma Resorts where they offer family vacation packages including good gourmet foods, luxury accommodations, entertainment, sports and the beautiful scenic view of the sea from where you’re staying in. Beautiful isn’t it? Well it’s not an impossible thing, who knows!
