Birthdays are Special

It’s almost a week now since my birthday and I’m happy to know that my friends whom I haven’t seen for so long remembered to greet me on that day! Of course my birthday wouldn’t be so special without my husband’s bunch of white roses and my kids’ little greeting cards. I’m not the kind who expects too much for a gift and even without it I’m happy. It’s the thought that counts they said so greetings or simple gestures of text, twitter and FB messages are fine. My daughter was asking me few weeks ago if I want bears for bithdays because she loves it herself. She’s very fond of stuff toys and anything that’s soft and cuddly even now that she’s a teen already. Of course I’ll love it also especially if it’s given by my loved ones. Birthdays are special days and every single thought counts.

Renovation Ideas for the House

We’re planning to divide our big house into two and my brother will be designing a duplex house to have a more flexible kind. The kids are growing up so fast and we really need to have a place of our own and because our house is so big it’s not practical to get a housing loan just to have our own home. Since our old house can accommodate two or more families we decided to make it a duplex house. Now we’re getting excited with the upcoming designs of my brother who will also look into the construction of the mentioned project.

I’m searching through ideas of kitchen Cabinets  because that’s my favorite corner of the house where I can be my own boss. I love cooking and baking and I want all my utensils and small kitchen accessories in order. I don’t want clutter that’s why I need to organize things in the cabinets. General Cleaning and Inventory

We had our general cleaning of the house today because we’re all on vacation hubby and kids will be back to school two weeks from now. We spent the whole morning sorting out old clothes, papers and threw all unnecessary things to clear up mess. When I clean I really meant cleaning up to the last dirt and mess I could see but I opt for green cleaning products if I could help it because of its safety in human and in environment too. Anyway few products are like it so I have to settle for my usual brand if I can’t get environmentally friendly cleaning supplies for my general cleaning project. We ended up the task lunchtime in time for a hearty meal of the kids’ favorite viand and desserts.

It’s my first year to join the cooperative and I joined because my brother is also a member of it and it’s worth it. Now I have extra funds to invest on small business. Hunting Hobby

My cousin is very fond of hunting and bird watching when I was still young. He would go home at my Uncle’s house where I used to stay in the afternoon and he would show me his catch for the day. It’s always birds that he’s fond of hunting and I wonder now what kind of spotting scopes he’s using to be able not to miss his target. He’s really good at it but now I learned he stopped his hunting hobby and devoted his time in his farm because that’s where they get their big income. He’s a bit older than me but when I talked to him and reminisced his hunting days his face will light up at the memories. His children are all girls so nobody took after his hobby and anyway I don’t know if it’s still permissible nowadays.

I’m dreaming to have a home theatre of my own and when my duplex renovation project is finished I will certainly saved money for it. I learned that my friend recently bought epson projectors for her home theatre to enhance its functions and resolutions. She’s really collecting and buying everything that will add and enhance her entertainment room in the house. Anyway ever since I met her she’s really into good music and collects all original audio and video CDs to entertain her when she’s out of her work. It relaxes her to stay in her room and just be there to watch and listen to all her favorite movies and music.

Nice Thing About Teamwork

Teamwork is a work performed by a group, a team or a band. The quality of teamwork will depend on much each member will join forces and work together in using some important factors like coordination, communication, cohesion, mutual support, effort and a great balance of contributions. Without using any of these effectively there won’t be much good results and the quality of teamwork will be low. I’ve experienced working as a team and though it’s hard to work if others won’t cooperate it’s still rewarding to think that you always have someone to lean on and you have the team of your side always. 

My technical proposal team in my previous job was given an award in 1996 because of our excellent performance. It felt so good then accepting our awards because we know we really did our best. I would have been sad if it’s not a group award because all of us deserve the recognition. It surpassed my former solo awards.
