Online Job Search

>> Thursday, March 4, 2010

It’s always been nice to transfer to another job at the first month of the year but now I have observed that some find it better to do it after the first month like the husband of my niece. Well it depends on the expiration of your contract with other company or depending upon your situation or rank with the company. I remember few years back when I only have the time to do my job search online so I will not be absent from my work. It’s very convenient for me back then because I don’t have to leave my work and my paycheck wouldn’t be affected with my incurred absences.

Now that I’m doing my work at home I also do my job search for writing opportunities online. The internet world has bountiful job opportunities. I’m just glad that I’m working in the comfort of my home. Thanks God!

:RT/WW - Stone Fish

>> Tuesday, March 2, 2010

Got a shot of this giant stone fish in Bio Research where Josh had their educational trip last year. I just find these little hearts at the bottom so cute! Anyway I have observed that someone in BioResearch is very fond of hearts as I have also pictures of their heart-shaped stone table and chairs in their dog and cat mansion. Must be someone's favorite don't you think?

Going Back to Walking Exercise

>> Monday, March 1, 2010

As soon as I saw myself in my latest picture in our alumni get together I promised myself that I’ll start my daily exercise again as I’m really big on the belly. I can fit in into a small or medium size shirt but due to my big belly I often end in a large size shirt. It’s hard to start regular exercise because I’m so busy. I start the day at 4:30 in the morning and ends before 12 midnight. I actually want the nordictrac great sale on treadmill to start my workout. I want to walk at least 3-5 kilometers a day and if I have my own equipment I can do it in my own home. Walking is good for the heart and it really feels good in your system. Got to check the discounted prices now!

Gained Weight Through The Years

>> Saturday, February 27, 2010

I had an enjoyable night with high school batch mates. I came to see all batches of my alumni high school from the 60’s up to the younger generations. Actually we didn’t notice some as we’re so busy with our own batch mates. I think we’re the noisiest there as some other keeps on staring at us. Well most alumni especially ladies have gained pounds and you’ll have to be so familiar with them to recognize at once.

For our batch we’ve seen half of us last December in our Silver Anniversary and though most are quite on the large size we’re thankful that we don’t need weight loss surgery Mexico now. We can resort to other ways of losing weight like proper food diet plan, plenty of exercise minutes and the most important thing in dieting which is discipline. You can’t do all your plans of shedding off excess pounds without proper discipline. Control and discipline are two of the tested logical ways of losing weight.

:FF/FTP : My Version of Mojos

>> Friday, February 26, 2010

Here's sharing my kids' favorite snack, my version of Mojos. It's basically potatoes cut in thin circular shapes and sprinkled/dipped in cheese breading. Then deep fried in hot cooking oil. I haven't included a picture of our dip sauce which is a mixture of mayonnaise and banana catsup.
Why I call it mojos? Because I love Shakey's Mojos and when I can't eat there I just make tons in my kitchen, yes tons of this as it's really yummy! Forgive my not so good capture as the cam is not in its good shot lol! Trouble with lighting I think! I'm rushing now to fix the picture! You can try this 5-minute recipe of mine, don't forget a bottle of your favorite drinks here!

I’m fond of collecting old coins and when the government changes the country’s coin I see to it that I save some of the coins before it all comes back to the government. This hobby started when Mom gave me an old coin dated back to late sixties and early seventies. I was really excited when I first saw my Mom’s collections. Back then I was collecting international stamps, song books, stationeries and a lot more. Now the only collections I choose to retain are my coins. Some people are rounding up the streets to buy broken jewelries and coax me to Sell Gold Coins but I always refused to sell my collection no matter how high they want to buy it. It’s priceless to me.

What Nut Are You?

You Are a Cashew

You are laid back, friendly, and easy going.
Compared to most people, you have a very mild temperament.
You blend in well. You're often the last person to get noticed.
But whenever you're gone, people seem to notice right away!

This is all true but I'm temperamental, I'm just good at hiding an controlling it. Since I became a born-again christian I've been fighting for my temper. I'm a joyful and very friendly person but when someone betrayed me my temper needs to be controlled.

Printed Boxes for Old Documents

>> Thursday, February 25, 2010

Our house needs general cleaning and inventory of furniture, books and many old things from the past. It was a renovated ancestral house so it contains all the old documents, paintings and every little thing that remained from the past. To do all cleaning and sorting out I think I’ll a week or two because I can’t do it on a full time basis as I have my work too. I’ll be doing what I’ve done when I resigned from my job. I bought some printed boxes and put all the past years’ important documents and labeled each box I’ve completed for easy handling and storage. Well when it comes to sorting things up I can be depended upon.

Reserving Venue for Graduation

My friend and parent president for the graduating class of SJES dropped by the house and showed me the venue pictures she found for us to hire. It’s just one village away from the school and the fee is so low. The place is big enough for 500 persons which includes students and parents/guardians. The gymnasium which was used by the previous graduates was now being occupied by the victims of the big flood and they still live there so that left us with no choice but to find a big place for the event. The school’s new stage and ground can’t accommodate the needed 500 plus seats so Janet has to secure another place. We’ll just wait for the fixed graduation date to keep things moving. Meanwhile Janet has already reserved the last week of March then we’ll set a meeting for the whole PTA graduation officers and that’s it!
