Thursday Challenge

"METAL" (Metallic, Steel, Bronze, Gold, Iron, Shinny,...)

These are shots from my daughter's Science exhibit which she attended together with her classmates.  They've rounded up several booths showing gadgets, machines and some science innovations.  It's fun for them and I'm glad she brought the camera with her bringing home plenty of pictures for my photo storage :D.

See how they test the Magnetizer/Demagnetizer here,  they just love this exhibit and had many group pictures around the exhibited machines.

Family All Inclusive Vacations

We're now planning for our summer camp meeting next month in time for the Holy Week season. We always do our summer camp meeting fellowship every year and we hold it in faraway provinces just like we're having a vacation at the same time. We've always had them far from our own places, but this time we're going to hold it in the hills of the town next to us. We're all excited for the day as if we were really on a vacation, but this one is our outdoor fellowship services where we sleep in tents and camp in villas and gardens.

After the camp meeting we're planning to look for affordable family vacations to release the stress and tiredness of the past several months. We're taking advantage of the kids' summer vacation and school break because after this summer they're back again for another school year. Anyway, we're just staying domestic as we still don't have time and funds for a grand vacation somewhere in the Caribbean, like my friend did for the past couple of months.

I know that there are family all inclusive vacations available online where you can book directly, but I think I need more time to save for it. But for those who are intending to go on this kind of vacation, Breezes Resorts offer all inclusive vacation packages which include accommodations in one of their hotels, meals, drinks, sports activities and also entertainment for the whole family. This package has enough activities for the young and adults like beach volleyball, tennis, surfing, waterfall climbing, horseback riding, polo and even golf.

When I pull the funds together, I will be going to www.breezes.com to book one of their affordable family vacations, and I can't wait!

Stylish Medical Scrubs

My former officemate and friend is really a nurse but she stopped at that time and tried to experience the life of the corporate world. She was employed as secretary and has shown so much interest in her work while practicing her medical knowledge on her family and on us when we need some advice for our babies. She was really a handful of knowledge then for us until the day that she realized she must return and practice her real profession. When I first saw her in nursing uniforms scrub I really thought that it’s really her world as she fits my idea of a true healthcare professional, very neat and proficient in her work. She still looks as beautiful as ever even in her white uniform.

Now she’s based in US for good and we just see each other in FB. Well I don’t see her in uniform now but when I see someone like her I can still imagine how she may look in the modern medical scrubs these days. With the latest trend in style and color she’ll surely look very chic on it especially those of Blue Sky Scrubs because they’re not only made in high quality but of stylish designs as well.

It’s easier to look more fashionable for the medical staff now that they can search, choose and buy scrubs online for the uniforms they want. This way they can save time and effort in going to stores on foot. With the help of online sites like Blue Sky Scrubs they can choose from among variety of styles and colors like ceil blue, green, pink, chocolate, lilac, navy blue and a lot more.

Saturday 9: St. Patrick's Day

1. St. Patrick’s Day is March 17th (Thursday). Do you celebrate and wear green? Drink Green Beer? Ignore it?
We don't have this kind of holiday or occasion.

2. If a leprechaun told you that you could have any amount of money from his pot of gold but it had to be a specified amount for a specified item, how much would you ask for and what would it be for?

One million for building our church and setting up my own business!

3. One of the symbols of St. Patrick’s Day is the leprechaun. Name a celebrity that you think would look good as a leprechaun. Name a celebrity that would look ridiculous as a leprechaun. Is there any one celebrity that would make a really scary leprechaun?

None.  I can't seem to think one actor that would look ridiculous as a leprechaun or a scary one and if ever I'd come up with one I'd rather not say it lol!

4. For a prize of $1,000,000,000 you are challenged to make yourself a costume for a St. Patricks Day party. The ONLY rules are that you aren’t allow to use clothing and it has to be green. Using anything other than clothing, describe your costume to us using ANYTHING else in the house.

If it has to be green maybe I would use green plants pasted into my body.

5. What day of the week is your busiest? Tell us about your schedule.

It's Saturday because all of us are in the house and I cook a lot.  I also finish all of my tasks because the following day is dedicated to church service fellowship.  Saturday is the busiest but the happiest too!

6. No matter what’s going on in your life, what always makes you smile?

My family especially my three kids, the reason for my happiness.

7. Of all the clothes you own, what do you feel most comfortable wearing, and why?

My house clothes which I always wear now.

8. On what television show—either past or present—would you like to make to make a guest appearance, and what role would you play?

I think I'll be comfortable and happy with playing Ally in Ally Mc Beal

9. What else is on your mind? Go ahead and rant.

I've got plenty of work to be done, online tasks to write and chores to do but I'm not going to rant about it as I love doing it for my family. And besides I'm very happy with a lot of good news this weekend.

Accident Attorney

When I was still working in my telecoms job I always see road accidents on my way going to my office. Because of the heavy traffic they usually do counter flow of cars to speed up the busy lane going to city. Some of those who had a hard time following traffic rules usually get caught in accidents that further delayed the flow of traffic. It’s not just once that I returned home because I resigned from waiting when the cars will have smooth flow. I get exhausted from traveling so when I finally reached the office I felt so tired. Well seeing car accidents make me sick and tired too especially when I learned that it’s due to drunk or careless drivers.

I’m sure the family of the victims of these reckless drivers will not stop until they get justice from the harm done to their loved ones. Hope they seek help from lawyers like Austin personal injury lawyer because they will be assured of legal help and assistance in obtaining fair compensation for physical damages brought about by accident. Most likely the damage is not only physical but financial as well because victims will also lose their job if they will be paralyzed from the accident. So if ever you need accident attorney in Austin just visit or contact O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath – Personal Injury Lawyers – 808 West Avenue, Austin, TX. 78701 – 512-494-9949

:TH: Many (Balloons)

Thursday Challenge

for fun and learning

"MANY" (Candies, Crowd, Paperclips, Coins, Collections,...)

Chosen this one for my entry because I love the beautiful colors of these balloons and the presentation.  Btw this tall group of balloons was used on my son's school activities particularly the health month last year.  Each grade level presented their version of healthy foods and gave each student a small serving of their prepared food.  The student contributed for it and they're also the recipients.  It was a very festive celebration filled with foods, toys, books and contented smile of little girls and boys.

Too Tired to Work

Can’t find the zest to work and write tasks today or maybe I was just feeling a bit tired from the chores. I tried working after lunch but I was not successful as I only did some email message browsing, answered client queries on my blog price, managed some tweets and that’s it. If only I could my blogging mojo today I would have finished ahead of my schedules again. It’s good to finish project or tasks as soon as you can because there are times that tasks are outpouring and if you’re working on due dates you’ll have pending tasks running after due time. Anyway before the last hour of the day I was able to finish one and will submit it later.

Spill 911

Our former tenant who has grown so close to us used to work in industrial environment because she finished a degree in industrial engineering and pursued a career where she can practice her field of expertise. We’re both engineering graduates but her field is very different from me. We often ride together going to our offices and she talks about the manufacturing and industrial environment to which I have no idea of. Well they’re more of textile industry and when inflation hit the country their company slowly turned to other Asian country to hire cheaper labor. She was forced to retire early rather than being sent abroad.

Well with her other industrial plant experiences she taught me how it was inside the plant. I was overwhelmed by her work experience as mine is completely different from her. She’s now living in their province but when I read articles about her former jobs I always remember her. When a friend needed me to help her with seeking suppliers for her business needs I was able to assist her and get to browse suppliers for  safety cabinets which she needs for storing hazardous and flammable liquids in her factory.

Spill911 not only offer these cabinets but a complete line of  spill pallets, industrial absorbents, material handling, storm water control, janitorial, facility protection and safety products to minimize leaks and spills. These cannot completely prevent the spills but it minimizes the impact. With the use of these containment and  spill kits the client is assured of quality products that can protect hazardous liquids from spilling and leaking.

Brochure Printing Online

When we visit the mall you’ll be surprised at how many brochures will be handed out to you. Some offers food budget meals, furniture sale, clearance sale, the latest in mobile models and a lot more. If you will accept them all you will end up having a dozen or more ads or promos. Well when I receive one brochure after another I always look at their style in advertising their products and I’m very interested at the way they present their plans. I’m talking of the color and design of the brochures because I know that brochure presentation is a major factor in the introduction and sales of products.

Well it’s not so hard now to have a nice and quality brochure as there are printers online who will do it for you just like Conquest Graphics which offers quality printing at a fair price you’ll afford. They will guide you through the order and design process. Just make sure that you have all things you need to know in ordering a nice printed brochure like full color, paper, size, folding options, mailing, wrapping and shipping.
