Chosen this one for my entry because I love the beautiful colors of these balloons and the presentation.  Btw this tall group of balloons was used on my son's school activities particularly the health month last year.  Each grade level presented their version of healthy foods and gave each student a small serving of their prepared food.  The student contributed for it and they're also the recipients.  It was a very festive celebration filled with foods, toys, books and contented smile of little girls and boys.

Too Tired to Work

Can’t find the zest to work and write tasks today or maybe I was just feeling a bit tired from the chores. I tried working after lunch but I was not successful as I only did some email message browsing, answered client queries on my blog price, managed some tweets and that’s it. If only I could my blogging mojo today I would have finished ahead of my schedules again. It’s good to finish project or tasks as soon as you can because there are times that tasks are outpouring and if you’re working on due dates you’ll have pending tasks running after due time. Anyway before the last hour of the day I was able to finish one and will submit it later.

:MYM/RT: Painting at Aling Tonyang's

This is a shot on Aling Tonyang's seaside restaurant painting where we eat couple of months back. We ate at the table below this painting and this  one caught my eye as the theme of the painting is also about cooking.  Very simple yet creative with splashes of brown, beige, yellow and red.  So I thought of making this an entry to Mellow Yellow Monday and Ruby Tuesday.  That day was full of fun as I met up with college friends whom I didn't see for a couple of years.  We've been together for 5 straight years in PUP Computer Engineering Class and so close to each other that they often hang out in our house to do projects and attend special occasions.  How I missed those days!

Maternity Clothes

Having a baby is an exciting thought to a family especially if it’s the first time for a couple to have one. I remember my own pregnancy when the whole family was excited over what I eat, what I do and what I wear. Of course the husband will do everything just to keep me comfortable and satisfied with all the foods that I want to eat. Anyway it’s not that hard on him as I don’t ask things and foods that are hard to get. I just love fish, vegetables, fruits and all natural foods. Unlike others who find it hard to think of what to eat I didn’t experienced it and my work helped me to be not so sensitive on things. I don’t sleep on afternoons or taking siesta because I’m working the whole week that’s why I didn’t have problems on indulging on too much sleep. 

My only problem is coping up with my Maternity Clothes when I was pregnant. I was working in corporate office and being an officer then I should dress good enough for my position. I didn’t want to look like I’m at home wearing very comfortable dresses. Finding dresses proved to be tasking as you’ll look at the malls and stores just to have nice working clothes. I didn’t want shopping on foot when I was pregnant because I’m already tired from an 8-hour job. I noticed that now it’s not a problem anymore as you can buy them online.

Custom Concessions

Our daughter is graduating from primary school next month and we’re planning some things to prepare for his secondary schooling next school year. She will be joining her elder sister now and we’re aware that we need additional finances for her as she will be enrolled in the same Christian school while the youngest is in a different Christian school. We know it’s quite a big amount that we will need for their enrolment but we’re praying for God’s provisions and exerting extra effort to earn more. 1. Do you take a lot of medication? No, I'm just taking my vitamins

2. Name one of your flaws and tell us about it.  I'm too trusting.  I easily trust a person so I'm always prone to betrayal, but that was before because I left my corporate life and concentrated on my being a work-at-home Mom (WAHM)

3. Have you ever won first place? If yes, tell us about your victory! Yes! It's usually on board games hahaha! In scrabble particularly :D

4. Who is the last person to make you smile? What was happening? My kids.  Because they're praising me for the meal they love to eat.

5. Describe a time when you should have tried harder.  I've always tried harder on many occasions and on many jobs.  And whatever accomplishments I've made in my life it's through my best efforts and prayers.  If I failed I know it's not for me.

6. What are you best at? Writing, Cooking, Lettering and Administering

7. If someone was going to make a movie or TV show about your life, who would play you and why? Sorry but I don't my story to be publicized, I'm a privy and shy person to even attempt to do it.

8. Name 3 things that you think are strange.  Talking while sleeping, walking while sleeping and sleeping while at work lol!

9. What is one lesson you have learned in the past 12 months? I've learned that in whatever things you achieved in life you owe it all to Him and you should acknowledge it to Him.  Count your blessings even the tiniest ones.

Safety Signs

Whenever I go to various places be it private offices, public buildings, hospitals or schools I always read wall signs whenever there’s one so I can familiarize myself with the rules of the place. Some are not rules anyway but safety signs or precautionary measures on emergency things. When I was the Administrative Officer of one of my previous jobs I see to it that important signs like Fire Exit and Fire Extinguisher are in proper places for easy searching when things got out of hand. Our signs were simple then unlike the ones I’m seeing on various places now like construction site and gasoline station with attractive image signs and texts that meets the eye. Remember that it’s better to have precaution than be caught in accidents.
