This is my favorite kind of puto. Yes I like this brown type puto more than any other kinds. I grew up in a town where all kinds of rice cakes and coco jams are being manufactured. Even in our own compound my Auntie used to cook volumes of kutsinta, sapin-sapin, palitaw and many other kinds of suman. She cooks well and she delivers it to nearby towns.This puto in picture resembles my favorite Puto Biñan which at first glance I thought was the real puto from Biñan. Anyway it's also yummy!

Madalas ko dati matikman un Puto Binan, malapit kasi kami sa place na yun...

Love visiting your Food Friday sharing. I grew up eating puto and kakanin. I love this kind of puto also especially with cheese slices and red egg. Gusto ko rin yung may niyog na topping. :)
