Coping Up with Crisis

>> Tuesday, August 24, 2010

With today’s great need for financial improvement we should be smart in spending our hard-earned money and learn to love our work no matter how humble our position is. Count yourself lucky that you have a job that will help you feed your family and give their basic needs in life. Well if your income is not enough to support your family you can always think of something that can add to your family’s income like buying some jewelry making supplies to start learning how to make jewelries or having extra freelance works. I’ve seen many families now are trying their best to cope with up the worldwide crisis and they come up with ingenuity of turning their skills and talents into money.

Work is a Blessing!

>> Monday, August 23, 2010

"Oh, no, it's Monday again!" "Thank God it's Friday!" Do you dread Monday mornings and look forward to weekends? Do you find your work boring or burdensome? So you might ask, "How can work be a blessing when it reminds me of a Nazi concentration camp, and my pay is not commensurate to my ability and input?"

Why is work necessary? Because the earth was cursed after Adam and Eve disobeyed God, the consequence of that sin was the cursing of the ground which man needs to till until he dies. Since the earth is cursed, work and life is not a walk in the park. Nevertheless, work is a blessing, not a curse.

Since the call of duty to our boss and the Lord are one and the same, here are a few practical ways to honor God through our current boss in the workplace 1) If you should come to the boss with a problem, bring a solution too. That's the reason why you were hired (2) Always arrive on time or earlier. (3) Work with integrity (4) Complete the work thoroughly and on time and lastly, Never say, "It ain't my job."

The blessing of blessing others. Work is the means by which God blesses us financially so we can meet our basic needs and fulfill some of our dreams. God blesses us with the means to earn income so we could help others and look after the needs of others than our own. So we must never taken our work for granted. We must love each working day of our job.

Enjoy A Beautiful and Peaceful Community

>> Friday, August 20, 2010

Home is where our heart is as I always fonder in my thoughts so I really make sure that my home is comfortable, in peaceful community and accessible to all the necessities of life such as church, school, market, shopping complex, park and other places that we need in our daily living. I can say I’m lucky to live in a place near the city so it’s peaceful enough that it’s a province but a 10-minute ride can take me to the nearest city and all the whims of my heart. Glad we own it and not just renting because it give us comfortable living of not paying for our place. My ancestors lived in this place since decades of years and passed it on to their descendants including us.

For those who want to live in their own house they can save their money and invest on a rent-to-own house in a peaceful community too. They should be careful in choosing the place of their would-be homes because that would be where they will raise their kids and enjoy their life with their families. This was my thought when I browsed upon a good place to live where historical landmark can take you to remember the past decades and where community and culture is very distinctive. If I have the capabilities or if I’m near the place I would invest in a place like real estate Fredericksburg Virginia because the place offers stunning lakeside retreats, great expanse of beautiful golf course, lush canopy of trees, wooden vegetation and charming villas with courtyard pools. This is definitely a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city and where security is at its best. This is also perfect for those rich and famous who want some peace in their lives. Visit their site for a complete tour of their beautiful Model Homes and Home Sites.

Clear View Window Tint

>> Thursday, August 19, 2010

It’s rainy season here in this part of the world but still you won’t stand the heat when the sun shines in the middle part of the day. You have to bring protection or you’ll end withered and drained from the damaging heat of the sun. It can also rob you of energy and makes you immune from sun-related sicknesses. I learned that protective zone is really not there anymore to filter the UV rays so exposure to sun can cause health hazards.

Well not only outside your home because strong heat can penetrate your house if you don’t have protection in your windows. I guess that’s why many homes are now getting themselves safety measures like window tinting Lynchburg which uses 3M window films that offers fade and solar protection. It can solve your protection problem while giving you extreme comfort for your home and business. They also give very clear films that will still give your clear view of the scenery outside with low reflectivity. They offer the best window films because they’re the first to invent it. Every product is guaranteed with quality and backed up with a warranty. Visit their site and start protecting yourself and your home.

How Open Minded Are You?

>> Wednesday, August 18, 2010

You Are 4% Open Minded

You may be surprised to hear that you're not very open minded... and a little judgmental.
You tend to dislike others that are different from you.
While you may be open to a few new things, you don't reach far beyond what you believe.
And it's likely that you don't even want to discuss different points of view!

I'm not judgmental as I try to understand people with different views in life.  I'm actually surprised with the questions I answered because it's about being open minded to bisexuality, vices, drugs, infidelity and many other negative things.  Disliking illegal and bad things doesn't mean disliking the people bec. sometimes  it's the spirit in them that you don't like not the person itself.  I don't have to favor their bad habits and vices just to be open minded.  Being open minded relates to understanding the situation of your family, friends and relatives and being able to give advices and tips on them whenever they need you.  I can discuss different points of view but I don't want debate especially on my belief and faith to God.  I want to share God's wonderful grace and not debate about it.

Dreaming for His Graduation Day

DH is so active with his studies now and I noticed that he’s really doing his best in all his subjects. He’s counting the years up to when he would graduate and start a new career totally different from his previous job. I support him in any way I can and I know he’s very happy about it. I’m looking forward to that day when he would come up the stage on his graduation day to receive his dream college diploma.

I bet he’s going to give some invitation just like the holiday invitations we usually get on special holiday seasons to his family and friends to join the happy moment of his life. Anyway that will be four years from now which is the time also for our eldest daughter to enter college. That I think is a good planning of DH because we’ll going to need high finances and he’ll be qualified then for better employment opportunities. He plans to be a college professor which I think is very appropriate for him.

For Investors and Hobbyists

>> Thursday, August 12, 2010

I’m fond of collecting things and it became a hobby for me. When I was young I used to collect foreign stamps, stationeries, dried roses, pens and old coins. Of all the mentioned hobbies collecting old coins proved to be the most enjoyable for me so I kept it safe from any harm. Because of hectic schedule my collections were not given any attention now and they’re just stored in a safe place.

Now I just saw this site that let investors and hobbyists buy gold coins. I was informed that value of these coins will most likely to appreciate than other things so I am sure that it’s a good investment that you can put your money in. We always have to be sure when we’re thinking about investment because it involves big finances.

When You're Sleepy

Here I am continuing what’s left of my task that will be due after midnight. I don’t think I will be able to work after our travel too Laguna where the celebration will take place. It’s usually traffic when we’re going home just like all our outing in Pansol and Tagaytay City. Every time we travel I find myself doing nothing at home after arrival. Maybe it’s the tiredness that sometimes numbs the mind. Well oftentimes the travel itself makes me so sleepy that long after we arrived at the house my eyes droops even before my usual sleeping time. You know how hard it is to work when you’re so sleepy, it makes everything in blurred vision or sometimes you’ll get blurred mind lol!

Very Productive Day

>> Wednesday, August 11, 2010

I’m very productive today and I’m amazed that despite having same tasks in all of my sites I was able to think different topics and ideas. The words literally are overflowing from my thoughts and I’m finishing tasks in very short span of time. Well I needed that because I have to finish them all before we go to Pansol tomorrow early morning. It’s our dear pastor’s birthday and I decided not to bring my laptop with me so I can take a break and rest. The kids will not go with us as this is their review week for their periodical exams next week. It’s harder to cope up with past lessons if they will be absent from school. So I’m expecting a no-sleep night ahead of me to finish all tasks due tomorrow. I’ll be leaving the house in a few minutes for our bible study.
