Magnetic Therapy

>> Monday, December 1, 2008

Have you been suffering from stiff hands, arthritis, backaches and other ordinary pains in your joints and body? Well I’ve experienced some of these pains especially when I’m working in my office for more than 8 hours. Staying long working some reports in my PC sometimes give me stiff hands and backache. I’m searching some herbal medicine and exercise for this when I learned about magnetic therapy and the use of magnetic bracelets to ease the usual pains in our bodies when we’re working so hard. It’s known also to give you a nice peaceful sleep. Wow if this is really true then I should be really thinking of buying one now! Besides they look pretty!

Cainta's 437 Foundation

Today marked our town’s 437 foundation anniversary, actually the celebration started yesterday with parades and presentation from all companies, establishments, schools and organizations in Cainta. It was a well-prepared occasion in our town and all involved agencies and staff gave their time and efforts in making their presentation beautiful. Students from my kids’ school were asked to play lyre and drums and show off their baton skills. Some others gave their best shows.

I didn’t have the chance to watch this year’s parade as it falls on Sunday and we have a whole day affair in our church. I’ll just have a preview here of last year’s parade.

Chips Delight at Galinco Land

Do your kids love chips delight? Well if you love chocolate chips cookies and you don't want to spend a lot you should try Chips Delight, crunchy, delicious and affordable too! Well we had a chance to have a preview and learn the process of doing this yummy cookies when my kids had a field trip last Nov. 22.

Parents were not allowed to enter the factory but the teachers told me to replace them so I can also watch over my kids especially Josh. They only allowed 3 guardians to go with the kids and that's only for the purpose of ensuring that the kids will be properly watched and protected from any accident.

As I've watched the demo of how they mix and cook cookies I'll share some here. The process was summarized in five steps and here in the picture you can see how they taught the kids with the use of Galinco land picture. The steps are :
First - Mr. Germ Army for sanitation
Second - Magic Dough - for mixing the ingredients
Third - Mr. Vulcan where the dough mixture will be baked
Fourth - Windy Valley where thousands of baked chips delight were being inspected and aired Fifth/Last - Mr Wrapper where the cookies will be wrapped ready for delivery and selling

My friend is planning to go to Hongkong Disneyland this coming holiday but she’s on the verge of changing her plans when she came upon online listing of Orlando vacations available for toddlers and grannies. She always wanted a vacation for the whole family and Orlando, Florida seems a nice destination with its magical places like Disney World, Sea World and Universal Orlando. Oh well she still have one month to decide.

Curious As A Cat: Week Number 145

>> Friday, November 28, 2008

1) How do you show someone that they are special to you? I care about them and love them unconditionally, most of the times I cook something special for them

2) What would be on your menu if you knew your next meal would be your last one? I will not think of a grand menu, I'll just include fruits!

3) If you could have said one thing to Harry Truman the day he decided to drop the atomic bomb, what would you have said? Conscience will always be there to remind you of this dark day!

4) Who is the person you would most like to help? I'll start with my own churchmates!

5) Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one. The chicken are planning some ways on how they can escape from their miserable condition lol!

Staying On Hotels!

My sister-in-law loves to travel to different places and she’s been rounding up various countries in Europe in her vacation trips. Staying on beach resorts and hotels is a common thing to her when she’s on other land. Last year she visited Egypt, Italy and her homeland Philippines and she stayed in their hometown in Samar where the beach stays beautifully intact. I wonder if she’s going to America on her next travel, she may want to stay on las vegas hotel or some other nice hotels around depending on where she’ll be wanting to tour around. She deserves to enjoy her vacation wherever she wants because she works hard for it.

Boost Your Energy Level!

>> Thursday, November 27, 2008

I’m feeling very tired since last week before and after my kids’ school activities. We were very happy about the field trip but after that my works piled up and I had to stay late at night just to finish my assignments before the due dates. I’m thinking of taking energy pills to boost my energy level and stopped fatigue from invading my body. I need this to do all my everyday activities with enough strength and stamina. I also need to be intellectually healthy so I can do my office works efficiently and have fresh ideas on my write-ups.
